The France international is out of favour at Chelsea under new manager Antonio Conte.

Crystal Palace have made a loan bid for Chelsea’s out of favour striker Loic Remy, according to French publication Le 10 Sport, with an option to make the move permanent for around £10.2 million.
The Frenchman, who has scored 12 goals in 47 matches at Stamford Bridge has found himself set aside from the match day squad in the club’s three matches so far this season, failing to earn any minutes or even make it on to the bench at all.
Despite the Blues naming a slightly weaker side in the 3-2 League Cup win over Bristol Rovers on Tuesday evening, Remy was nowhere to be seen, emphasising that he is not Antonio Conte’s thoughts for the season.

With Diego Costa and Michy Batshuayi very much the club’s main strikers, and Dominic Solanke, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and other attacking midfielders providing support, the former Newcastle and QPR star would do well to find a new club before the end of the transfer window, and according to the Le 10 Sport report, a loan switch to Selhurst Park is very likely, with a permanent option included in the agreement.
Palace have long been linked with a move for Remy, and with the 29-year-old’s former Newcastle manager Alan Pardew in charge, the forward will have an idea what will be in store for him.
Remy took in a successful loan at the Magpies in the 2013-2014 season, scoring 14 goals in 26 league matches, and he would join Christian Benteke in coming into the Eagles to strengthen a forward line that is yet to find the net in the Premier League this season.
