Crystal Palace have been linked with West Ham United’s Diafra Sakho in the January transfer window.

It has been reported that Palace have matched Rennes £8 million offer for the 28-year-old striker.

The British tabloid has also claimed that the Eagles, who are fighting for survival in the Premier League at the moment, hope to get permission to speak to the Senegal international striker.
It has also been reported that although the former FC Metz striker wanted to go back to France, Palace could offer him better terms to remain in London.

Sakho has been on the books of the Hammers since the summer of 2014 when he joined from Metz when Sam Allardyce – now the manager of Everton – was in charge.
The 28-year-old has played only 296 minutes of Premier League football so far this season, scoring two goals in the process, according to WhoScored.
