According to One Sport Israel, Crystal Palace have made a move for Celtic forward Liel Abada, who is keen to join Liverpool.
What’s the story?
Well, Crystal Palace are said to have enquired about the 20-year-old, who is shining for Celtic in his debut campaign with the Bhoys.
After a £3.4m move from Maccabi Petah Tikva in July, Abada has scored 13 goals while also providing nine assists under Ange Postecoglou.
One Sport Israel believe Celtic have knocked back the enquiry, as they have no interest in selling the 5-cap Israel international.
The Hoops are said to have issued a firms hands-off warning to Crystal Palace, with One Sport Israel claiming that Celtic responded with the following.
“This is a young player that we have not yet finished paying for, there is nothing to talk about at the moment.”
It comes after Abada scored and provided an assist for Reo Hatate in the stunning 3-0 win over Rangers on Wednesday evening.
Crystal Palace may lose out to Liverpool

It seems as if a Premier League move might be too soon for Abada, as Celtic only signed him back in July.
Nevertheless, the Celtic No.11 has openly said he wants to play in the Premier League, which bodes well for Crystal Palace.
However, what does not bode well for the south Londoners is the fact that Abada also mentioned he wants to join Liverpool specifically.
Speaking to Sport5, he said: “My dream was and remains to play in England, in one of the teams in the Premier League. The biggest dream is Liverpool, but I have to keep working hard here to prove myself.”

If the Reds reciprocated his interest, then surely Crystal Palace wouldn’t stand a chance of signing the exciting Celtic forward.
However, having just signed Luis Diaz, Liverpool may have no immediate need for Abada, which could work in Crystal Palace’s favour.
Keep an eye on this saga, although we don’t expect Abada to leave Celtic Park anytime soon.
