Crystal Palace are trying to add more depth to their options on the left-hand side, but may have to up their offer as Norwich seek their own reinforcements.
A report from the Daily Mail’s live transfer feed (2nd January 2017 at 11:55) has suggested that Crystal Palace have made a £7 million bid for Norwich City winger Robbie Brady, but may need to make a significantly better offer if they hope to sign the Republic of Ireland international.

The Mail reports that the Canaries want £12 million for the 24-year-old, who has shone since his move to Carrow Road in 2015.
That is because Alex Neil wants to bolster his attacking options and plans to pursue a move for Huddersfield Town forward Nahki Wells, the Mail adds.

Given Brady’s form, Sam Allardyce may well deem that it is worth making an offer much closer to Norwich’s asking price. The wide-man has scored six times and bagged five assists since his move from Hull City, and offers a level of versatility that would mean that his arrival would provide additional depth in several positions on the left flank.
While Brady has been relegated from the Premier League in each of the last two seasons, his performances have often received plenty of praise, so perhaps a move to Crystal Palace will give him the chance to finally establish himself at the highest level while also giving Norwich the funds needed to pursue one of their targets.
