Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter is wanted by Crystal Palace and West Ham United.

According to The Mirror, Crystal Palace are ready to challenge West Ham United for the signature of Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter during the January transfer window.
Arter, 27, started his career in the ranks of Charlton Athletic, but after failing to make the grade at The Valley, he headed into non-league with Woking in 2009.
The midfielder quickly returned to the Football League though, joining Bournemouth in 2010, where he has become a vital player under Eddie Howe.
A Republic of Ireland international, Arter has now racked up more than 200 appearances for Bournemouth, scoring 27 times – and his performances appear to be attracting interest in his signature.
The Mirror report that Crystal Palace have joined the race to sign Arter, with West Ham United already hoping to bring him back to London during the January transfer window.
It’s claimed that new Hammers boss David Moyes wants to land Arter to add mobility and bite to his midfield, but Palace are now joining the battle for his signature as the two teams attempt to avoid relegation.
Bournemouth tied Arter down to a new contract over the summer, meaning an exit seems unlikely, but a return to London could be somewhat appealing, given that he was born in Sidcup.
Bournemouth will be under little pressure to sell in January, but with interest mounting in Arter’s signature, he may well face a big decision on his future in 2018.
