Crystal Palace have reportedly joined the race to sign the Leicester City midfielder.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, the Eagles are keeping close tabs on Foxes midfield ace Andy King, with up to three other Premier League clubs interested in signing him on loan before the transfer window slams shut.
Roy Hodgson has made no secret of his desire to bolster his ranks at Selhurst Park, admitting that his Crystal Palace squad is far too thin to compete in what is such a physically demanding league.
King, 29, has made just five Premier League starts for Leicester so far this season, and with plenty of midfield options currently at the King Power Stadium, Claude Puel could very well be tempted into sanctioning his exit from the club.
According to the Daily Mail, Bournemouth and Brighton are interested in signing King, but the Eagles have joined the race to obtain the 29-year-old’s signature.
With numbers low at Selhurst Park, King would be an excellent addition to Hodgson’s squad, what with his experience and quality, but whether Palace can get a deal for him over the line before the window slams shut remains to be seen.
