Crystal Palace are reportedly interested in Hull City’s Kamil Grosicki. Newcastle United interested too.

According to the reports from The Northern Echo, Crystal Palace have joined the race for Hull City winger, Kamil Grosicki.

The Polish winger joined the club on the final day of the January transfer window for a fee of £7 million from Rennes, as reported by Sky Sports.

However, with Hull City getting relegated last season, the player wishes to move on and continue playing in the Premier League.

The Hull Daily Mail reports that The Tigers will not stand in the way provided their £9 million valuation is met.

The report claims that Newcastle United are weighing up a move for the 29-year-old, as Rafa Benitez is considering to bolster his newly promoted squad.

As of now, no formal bid has been made, but Benitez has instructed his recruitment team to keep an eye on the situation.

Grosicki has a pre-arranged relegation release clause of around €11m in his current Hull contract, according to The Northern Echo.

However, Newcastle could face a tough competition from Crystal Palace, West Brom and Watford – all are looking to trigger his release clause.

He would be a superb addition for either Palace or Newcastle, and his future will become clearer in the coming days.
