Crystal Palace are expected to be extremely active during this month’s transfer window.
Reports emanating from Italy today suggest that Crystal Palace have opened talks with Juventus left-back Patrice Evra, over the possibility of bringing him to Selhurst Park this month, according to the Sun.
The 35-year-old French international moved to Turin from Manchester United in the summer of 2014, for a fee believed to be in the region of £1.2 million, and has gone in to make 82 appearances for the Bianconeri.

Evra is reportedly available after a huge fall out with Juve manager Massimiliano Allegri (the Sun), and with Eagles boss Sam Allardyce thought to be on the look out for defensive reinforcements, the signing of the Frenchman would seem to make sense.
The Sun also go on to claim that Valencia are keen on bringing the left-back to the Mestalla, but Evra himself would prefer a move back to England.

Evra has won pretty much all there is to win in the game, including five Premier League titles and a Champions League winners medal during his time with Man United, whilst his time in Turin has yielded two Serie A titles and two Coppa Italia winners medals.
