According to Sport Parma, Crystal Palace have made direct contact with P&P Sport Management, who represent Parma forward Yann Karamoh.
What’s the story?
Well, this isn’t the first time Crystal Palace have been linked with the 23-year-old.
The south Londoners were first mentioned as a potential destination for the winger a few weeks ago.
More recently, it was discovered that Karamoh had been left out of Parma’s plans, and had also lost his No.10 shirt at the club.
Now, Sport Parma believe Patrick Vieira’s side – as well as Lille – have contacted the France Under-21 international’s representatives.
Karamoh’s contract expires in 2023. As a result, Sport Parma believe the Serie A side will settle for just €6m (£5m).
Who is Yann Karamoh?

Seeing as he isn’t exactly a household name, you might not know much about Karamoh.
In that respect, a comparison might be helpful. During his early days, the Ivory Coast-born forward was labelled the ‘new Kylian Mbappe’.
In Crystal Palace’s case, that bodes well.

At 23, Karamoh has plenty of time on his side to improve, and wouldn’t represent a huge risk for just £5m.
Additionally, he would fix a problem position for Vieira out on the right flank, where a dynamic option to mirror Wilfried Zaha is missing.
In many ways, this would be a fantastic signing for Crystal Palace.
