Crystal Palace are reportedly chasing Omar Elabdellaoui and Victor Camarasa.
According to the Daily Mail, Crystal Palace are pursuing an exciting double deal for Real Betis playmaker Victor Camarasa and Olympiacos right back Omar Elabdellaoui.
The Eagles have been quiet so far this summer in terms of incomings, landing backup goalkeeper Stephen Henderson and signing loanee Jordan Ayew permanently.
Yet having sold Aaron Wan-Bissaka – and with Wilfried Zaha potentially going too – Roy Hodgson should have some money to spend.
Palace are now looking to bring in right back Elabdellaoui as a replacement for Wan-Bissaka, and then spend some of the extra cash on Camarasa.
Elabdellaoui, 27, starred as an attack-minded right back in Greece last season, hitting five goals and seven assists in all competitions.
The Norwegian international is an experienced performer which some history in England with Manchester City and Hull City, and could be a smart signing for the Eagles.
Advanced talks have been held for Camarasa, who was one of the shining lights for Cardiff City last season, hitting five goals and four assists on loan from Betis.
The 25-year-old Spaniard is a creative, goalscoring midfielder with quality from dead balls, and would bring added guile to a Palace side which has sometimes been criticised for a lack of creativity outside of Zaha and Andros Townsend.
As more of a number 10, Camarasa wouldn’t be a replacement for Zaha, more of an option behind a striker whilst allowing Zaha and Townsend to work out wide, and with both players making perfect sense for Palace, this could be a superb double deal.
