Crystal Palace’s owners are keen on appointing Burnley boss Sean Dyche as their next manager.

A report in the Daily Mirror has suggested that Sean Dyche would be keen on taking the job at Crystal Palace, but may not be entirely happy about the terms, nor would he necessarily be the favourite candidate amongst the entire Eagles hierarchy.
According to the Mirror, Palace’s American owners are keen to target the Burnley boss having been impressed by the way that he has led the Clarets to success on a limited budget.
However, the Mirror adds that Eagles chairman Steve Parish is less convinced about targeting Dyche, while Dyche himself may not be completely over the moon about the terms on the table.
The Mirror reports that Dyche may be tempted to make the switch to Selhurst Park having been occasionally frustrated over the amount of funds he has had to work with at Turf Moor.

However, Palace’s owners are actually keen to limit the budget after a couple of years of heavy spending, the Mirror suggests, so it remains to be seen whether Dyche would still be willing to make the move.
While Palace may arguably have the better squad on paper and seemingly would provide Dyche with greater transfer funds over a period of time, the former Watford boss would surely be forgiven for turning down a move at this point if the funds are not there immediately.
Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish is reportedly not convinced about Dyche
Dyche has built his Burnley squad to the point that they are now looking forward to their second consecutive season in the Premier League, and he may feel that they have further to go before they reach a ceiling.
But he may be asking himself, even without significant funds, whether Palace’s ceiling is high enough to tempt him into the move.
