According to the Daily Mail, Crystal Palace have emerged as frontrunners to sign Liverpool striker Rhian Brewster.
The report states that Palace, along with Sheffield United, have been attempting to sign the forward permanently this summer, while West Brom allegedly want him on loan.
However, Liverpool are demanding two things if they offload the 20-year-old.
The Daily Mail state that Jurgen Klopp’s side want a buy-back option and a sell-on clause if they are to sell Brewster, who scored 11 goals on loan at Swansea last term.
While that is no surprise given the shrewdness of Michael Edwards’ negotiating skills, it doesn’t sound like much of a good deal for Palace.
Demands such as the aforementioned would effectively make Brewster’s potential move to Selhurst Park a glorified loan switch, in all honesty.

Should he do well, then Liverpool could simply activate their buy-back option and Roy Hodgson’s men would return to square one in their hunt for a striker.
Admittedly, the youngster is a huge prospect.
He scored eight goals as England won the 2017 FIFA U17 World Cup.

As a result, Brewster won the Golden Boot, and was also awarded the Bronze Ball for his stunning individual displays.
With exactly two weeks until the transfer deadline, this is definitely one to keep an eye on.
