According to The Athletic, Crystal Palace are almost certain to offload Jaroslaw Jach when his contract expires in June 2022.
What’s the story?
Well, we don’t think anyone close to the Eagles will be surprised by this.
The Athletic believe Jach will be let go once his contract ends in June, unless he can find himself a new club in the January transfer window.
So far this season, the 27-year-old is yet to feature under Patrick Vieira, and has been restricted to Under-23 action only.
As The Athletic state, only an injury crisis in the centre-back department will see Jach get anywhere near the first-team.
With Joachim Andersen, Marc Guéhi, James Tomkins, Cheikhou Kouyate and Martin Kelly to choose from, it would have to be some injury crisis.
Why did Crystal Palace sign Jaroslaw Jach?

The 2-cap Poland international’s situation in SE25 is bizarre.
It was Roy Hodgson who signed Jach in a deal worth £2m from Zaglebie Lubin back in 2018.
However, the defender has made just one first-team appearance in that time, which came against Bournemouth in the Carabao Cup.

Jach has also been sent on loan five times since arriving in south London.
It really was a baffling signing.
It’s looking very likely that Jach’s Crystal Palace career will come to an end without a single Premier League appearance to his name.
Why Hodgson signed him is a mystery, and it seems Vieira has no interest in giving the Pole an opportunity at Selhurst Park.
