Tottenham Hotspur defender Kyle Walker-Peters is reportedly wanted by Crystal Palace and Southampton.

According to the Daily Mail, Crystal Palace and Southampton are both interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur full back Kyle Walker-Peters today.
Palace are still looking to replace Aaron Wan-Bissaka following his big-money move to Manchester United, whilst Southampton want competition for Yan Valery.
That has resulted in both teams looking at various right backs, and it’s thought that both clubs want to land Walker-Peters on deadline day.
The 22-year-old has come up through the Spurs ranks, and seemingly has a chance to become Tottenham’s first-choice right back, with Kieran Trippier gone and Serge Aurier out of favour.
He didn’t exactly impress in pre-season though, and whilst he has some ability going forward, some don’t feel he’s defensively sound enough to play regularly for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Sending Walker-Peters out on loan would be ideal for his development in most circumstances, but Spurs are short at right back, with Aurier potentially going and Juan Foyth injured.

Letting him go would be a massive risk unless another right back is coming in, and the timing is interesting, as the Daily Mail also claim that Spurs are keen on Nice right back Youcef Atal.
Spurs wouldn’t have much time to get a deal done for the Algerian 23-year-old, who impressed with his attacking play last season, but he certainly fits the bill.
Soccer Link claim Nice have told Atal that his asking price is around €30million (£27.5million), with Paris Saint-Germain keen. Yet with PSG also interested in re-signing Aurier, it could all work out perfectly for Spurs by signing Atal, offloading Aurier and loaning out Walker-Peters – but that’s a lot of business to do.
