Crystal Palace, Huddersfield Town, Newcastle United and Stoke City are reportedly interested in Benfica’s Andre Carrillo.
According to The Sun, Benfica winger Andre Carrillo is keen on a move to the Premier League this summer – and Crystal Palace, Huddersfield Town, Newcastle United and Stoke City are all keen.
Carrillo, 26, emerged as a young talent in his native Peru with Alianza Lima, before moving on to Portugal with Sporting Lisbon in the summer of 2011.

The winger made 162 appearances for Sporting, notching 16 goals before leaving on a free transfer when his contract expired last summer, making a controversial move to city rivals Benfica.
Carrillo was seen as a big signing for Benfica, but he failed to live up to expectations, starting just ten games in all competitions whilst scoring three goals and one assists, as he had to make do with a bit-part role under Rui Vitoria.
Now, The Sun report that Carrillo is expected to leave Benfica in a cut-price £6million deal this summer, and the wide man is keen on making a move to the Premier League, where four teams are interested.
It’s claimed that Crystal Palace, Huddersfield Town, Newcastle United and Stoke City are all pursuing Carrillo’s signature, whilst Watford – managed by Carrillo’s former Sporting boss Marco Silva – are also lurking.

The report notes that Huddersfield have had a £500,000 loan bid rejected for Carrillo, as Benfica want to sell him rather than be faced with the prospect of him returning to the Estadio da Luz in 2018.
Stoke figure to be interested in another winger having sold Marko Arnautovic to West Ham United last weekend, but Newcastle’s interest would be something of a surprise having recently signed Jacob Murphy from Norwich City.
