Crystal Palace and Middlesbrough are still reportedly in the hunt for Fiorentina striker Khouma Babacar – according to a report from AlfredoPedulla.
The report claims that there is no interest in the player’s services from Genoa and that the only two teams that are looking into his signature are the two Premier League clubs.
It is not the first time that both clubs have been linked with the player this summer, but things had gone quiet for a while.
However, with the transfer window now approaching its end, a move for the player appears to make sense from both clubs – as he would no longer come at a big price.

Palace have just signed Christian Benteke but are still short up top.
Middlesbrough meanwhile are happy to let Jordan Rhodes go and would need to bring in a fresh face up front if they did so.
Babacar is a Senegalese under-20 international but cannot hold down a regular starting spot in the Fiorentina side.
He played 23 times for La Viola last season – scoring six goals in the season.
