Premier League rivals Crystal Palace and Brighton and Hove Albion are keen to raid Newcastle United for midfielder Mo Diame.

Crystal Palace and Brighton are queuing up to sign Mo Diame on a free when his contract at Newcastle United expires, according to the Daily Star.
The 31-year-old Senegal international is facing an uncertain future on Tyneside, three years after he joined The Magpies from Hull City for £3.5 million, according to The Chronicle.
Diame is due to become a free agent in the summer but is hoping to stay at St James’ Park and wants a new two-year deal. Newcastle, however, are not willing to meet the demands of a player entering the autumn years of his career, according to The Chronicle.
As a result, it is claimed that clubs in Spain, Turkey and Italy are interested in offering him a fresh start. But Diame won’t be short of offers if he wants to stay in England either.

The Daily Star believes that Crystal Palace and Brighton are keen to snap up a player who has also played Premier League football for West Ham and Wigan Athletic.
He has started 21 Premier League games for Rafa Benitez’s side this season.
