Everton spent much of the transfer window chasing the Crystal Palace winger but were unable to get a deal over the line.

Everton had spent much of the transfer window chasing Zaha, and he was eager to move to Goodison Park.
The winger handed in a transfer request to try and force through a move to Marco Silva’s side, but his efforts proved fruitless.
Palace ended up keeping hold of their star man, and Sakho, who is captain of the Eages, decided the time was right to sit down with the Ivory Coast international.
Sakho called a meeting with every Palace player to demand that Zaha gives his full commitment to the side, despite his disappointment at missing out of Everton.
Zaha is said to have responded well to the demand of his teamamtes, and is now focused on helping Palace.

If Zaha does stick around at Selhurst Park and recapture his best form then it will be a huge boost for Roy Hodgson.
The 26-year-old is his side’s most talented player, and much is resting on his shoulders if Palace are to avoid relegation.
Everton seem unlikely to come back in for Zaha now, as they opted to sign Alex Iwobi on deadline day.
