Everton have been linked to Cristian Gourcuff.

Canal Plus (cited by The Liverpool Echo) has reported that Cristian Gorcuff has offered his services to Everton as the hunt for a new manager goes on.
Ronald Koeman was sacked as Everton boss a month ago but the Toffees have yet to announce a successor to the Dutchman.
Watford’s Marco Silva is the bookmakers’ favourites to land the role at Goodison Park but, according to reports in France, a new candidate is in the reckoning.

Gourcuff, who left his post at Rennes earlier this month, is reported by Canal Plus to have offered himself to Everton and is awaiting a response from the Premier League side.
The 62-year-old, who has never managed a non-French club apart from a year at Qatar-based Al-Ittihad until 2003, served as head coach of Algeria’s national team until 2016.

His son, Yoann, plays for Rennes and The Liverpool Echo reported two years ago that Everton – then under Roberto Martinez – were interested in signing him, though a move never materialised.
David Unsworth has been in charge of the team in a caretaker role since Koeman’s dismissal, with the former Toffee managing just one win in five Premier League games, leaving the Merseyside club 16th in the table.
