As per a report by the Daily Mail, Antonio Conte plans to hold a one-on-one meeting with Harry Kane in the aftermath of his penalty miss for England in their 2-1 defeat to France at the World Cup.
The Three Lions captain seemed understandably distraught after the contest, as he had the golden opportunity to score a late equaliser for his side.
Almost immediately after Olivier Giroud fired France into a lead, Theo Hernandez made an unnecessary challenge on Mason Mount inside the box that was deemed as worthy of dishing out a spot-kick.
Having had dispatched one penalty earlier already, it seemed inevitable that Kane would deliver from the spot once again.
However, that was not to be as the Tottenham striker blasted the ball over the crossbar in uncharacteristic fashion on Saturday night.

While Gareth Southgate’s side did their best to equalise following Kane’s shocking spot-kick, it was not to be as they crashed out of the competition.
Conte to have a chat with Kane
As reported by the Daily Mail, Antonio Conte will have a one-on-one chat with Harry Kane after he returns to the club.
The Tottenham Hotspur manager wants to talk to his talismanic striker to get an insight into his state of mind.
After all, missing a penalty in what was arguably one of, if not the most important game in Kane’s career is bound to have a devastating impact on his mental wellbeing.
Conte will hope Kane is ready to put his mishap behind him
As displayed this season, Harry Kane is Spurs’ most important player and primary source of goals.
Despite Son Heung-min being in a rut all season and Dejan Kulusevski suffering injury woes, the Englishman has been unstoppable when it comes to finding the back of the net, scoring 12 in 16 Premier League games.
Keeping that in mind, Antonio Conte will hope his main man up front is ready to silence all his doubters in a Tottenham shirt.
