Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte has ‘grown weary’ of Giovani Lo Celso, according to The Independent.

The Independent have claimed that Lo Celso does not follow Tottenham head coach Conte’s instructions to the level required.

The former Chelsea and Inter Milan head coach has reportedly ‘grown weary’ of the efforts of the Argentina international midfielder, describes as “a very good player” by then Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino in Football.London in November 2019.

The Athletic have reported that Tottenham are looking to offload the 25-year-old Argentina international midfielder in the January transfer window in a swap deal.

Conte left the midfielder out of the Tottenham squad against Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday.

Lo Celso subsequently said on Instagram that he was available and was 100% free from injury.

Disappointing Tottenham spell for Giovani Lo Celso

In our view, Lo Celso’s time at Tottenham has been a disappointment.

Injuries have affected the Argentine, who has really failed to make a huge impact at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The Argentina international has scored one goal and created five big chances in 55 Premier League appearances so far in his career.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham are able to swap Lo Celso for a midfielder who is better and can make an immediate impact on the team.
