Coventry has spent the best part of a decade at West Ham United.

The young West Ham United midfielder, Conor Coventry, is unhappy with the contract offered to him by the Hammers, according to The Guardian.
Coventry has been with West Ham since the age of 10 and made his debut against Macclesfield Town in the EFL Cup last season.
The Republic of Ireland youth international also appeared against Newport County in this campaign’s competition.
But it is claimed that he could be on his way out of the London Stadium in January, with ‘several clubs’ showing an interest in signing him.
Coventry’s existing deal expires next summer and, because of his age, West Ham are only entitled to training compensation if he leaves under freedom of contract.

The 19-year-old is one of only a handful of defensive-minded midfield players currently on the Hammers’ books.
And losing him would only increase the club’s need to strengthen in his position.
Coventry, who captains West Ham’s Under-23s, has yet to play competitive football for anyone but the London side.
