According to AS, Real Madrid are concerned by Gareth Bale’s form during his season-long loan spell at Tottenham.
The Spanish news outlet’s report states that Los Blancos were hoping for the 83-cap Wales international to rediscover his mojo in north London.
Real Madrid are keen for Bale to do well, as a successful season would boost their chances of offloading the forward on a permanent basis.
However, AS state that these current hopes are being ‘thwarted’ by the former Southampton man’s stuttering campaign under Jose Mourinho.
Bale has scored just three goals since sealing his return to Spurs.

One of those was a penalty against LASK in the Europa League.
The other two came against Brighton in the Premier League and Stoke in the Carabao Cup.
With Harry Kane and Heung-min Son in scintillating form, chances have been hard to come by for Bale.

The likes of Steven Bergwijn and Carlos Vinicius have also impressed in spells – there is certainly a lot of competition for the Welshman.
It is also said by AS that Real Madrid’s potential signings of Kylian Mbappe and Erling Braut Haaland partly depend on offloading Bale.
In truth, Zinedine Zidane’s side have every right to be concerned.
