Aston Villa want loan star Tyrone Mings on a permanent basis.

According to Sky Sports, Aston Villa want Bournemouth defender Tyrone Mings permanently – but other Premier League teams are also keen.
Villa won promotion back to the Premier League last week, beating Derby County 2-1 at Wembley Stadium thanks to goals from Anwar El Ghazi and John McGinn.
Now, boss Dean Smith will be planning for the Premier League, and that will feature a whole host of signings having released eight players on Saturday.
One key target is defender Mings, with The Telegraph recently claiming that Villa are hoping to get a £15million deal tied up for their star loanee.
However, Sky Sports now report that rival Premier League clubs are keen to sign Mings, who played a key role in solidifying the Villa defence following his January arrival.
Mings, 26, had struggled for first-team football with Bournemouth, but has been a rock in the Villa defence, meaning it’s no surprise that Smith wants him permanently.

Mings seems to have no role at Bournemouth after the signing of Lloyd Kelly, another giant defender who can play at left back or centre back, meaning Villa will be hoping for a deal.
It’s claimed that Mings prefers a move to Villa Park right now despite that mystery interest, but Villa will still look to get a deal done sooner rather than later amid rival interest.
