
It has been reported by the British tabloid that Everton are pushing to sign Arias this summer in a £12 million move.
The 28-year-old has lost his place in the Atletico starting lineup and is open to switching to the Toffees, according to the report.
It has been further added that Everton director of football Marcel Brands likes Arias, having signed the Colombia international defender while at PSV Eindhoven in 2013.
Atletico Madrid spell
Arias joined Spanish club Atletico from Dutch side PSV in the summer of 2018.
According to WhoScored, the right-back made 20 starts and five substitute appearances in La Liga for Atletico during the 2018-19 campaign, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the process.
During the 2019-20 campaign, the Colombia international made 11 starts and three substitute appearances in the league, providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.
Meanwhile, according to comments from Rai Sport journalist Ciro Venerato relayed in Calcionapoli24, midfielder Allan will leave Napoli and join Everton this week.
