Belgium coach Thierry Henry is being eyed by Bordeaux for the manager role, with the French football legend also tipped to join Roberto Martinez at Everton.
According to RMC Sport, the Red Devils coach and former AS Monaco boss is being viewed by the French club to take over as manager, with current Bordeaux boss Vladimir Petkovic likely to be sacked in the coming days.
Les Girondins sit 19th in the standings yet just one point off safety. However, the situation at Bordeaux is a dire one, with GFFN labelling the club ‘in absolute chaos’ following a string of disastrous episodes.
Indeed, Bordeaux are in as big a mess as Everton, who could also appoint Henry soon with the Toffees reportedly interested in hiring former manager Martinez to replace Rafa Benitez, who was sacked earlier in the week.
According to the Athletic, the Spaniard has been offered the chance to return to the blue half of Merseyside, with Martinez eager to bring Henry with him as part of his coaching staff.
The duo have enjoyed success on an international level with Belgium. However, if Martinez is to take up the Everton job, Henry could well be tempted to part ways with the coach for another job in France, this time with Bordeaux
Everton hiring Martinez with Henry in Bordeaux will be brutal blow

Henry’s CV as a manager so far has been underwhelming. However, there’s no denying that the Belgium coach has been an impressive right-hand man to Martinez, and losing the Frenchman to Bordeaux will be cruel if the Spaniard moves to Everton.
Indeed, Henry has proven to be a perfect foil for Martinez both on the touchline and the training pitch, and losing the Premier League legend for Bordeaux with a job at Everton potentially in the pipeline could be huge to how the former Wigan coach works on Merseyside.
