According to The Sun, Southampton are willing to let Fraser Forster join Celtic in the summer transfer window.

Forster spent the 2019-20 campaign on loan at Celtic from Premier League outfit Southampton.

The Hoops want to keep the England international goalkeeper for the 2020-21 campaign, and the Saints are open to a deal, according to the report.

However, according to the report, Southampton want to sign 24-year-old midfielder Olivier Ntcham from the Hoops and also want the Glasgow giants to contribute more than the £15,000-a-week in wages to his salary they did this past season.

Back to Celtic?

Given how good Forster was for the Hoops this past campaign and his undoubted quality, he would be a brilliant signing for Neil Lennon’s side, as they aim to make it 10 Scottish Premiership titles in a row in 2020-21.

However, Ntcham is an important player for the Glasgow giants, and it will be interesting to see if Celtic are willing to cash in on the Frenchman ahead of a massive season for the club.

Meanwhile, according to VG Sport, Southampton-owned winger Mohamed Elyounoussi will make a decision on his future in the coming days, with Celtic interested in keeping him next season as well, while Real Betis also want him.
