West Ham United are now considering making a £16 million offer for Gaetan Laborde, according to the Telegraph.
The Montpellier striker is on West Ham’s radar, following Sebastien Haller’s departure from the club.
West Ham realise that they have an urgent need to find a striker, and doing a deal for Laborde seems very possible.
Montpellier are apparently willing to cash in on their most potent attacking force, after his solid showing at the start of the season.
Laborde has six goals and six assists in Ligue 1 so far this term, which shows his versatility as both a goalscorer and a creator.

The 26-year-old may not be as exciting a prospect as some of the other names linked with West Ham since Haller’s departure.
However, the club apparently feel that he is ready-made for the Premier League, and the Hammers are now considering firming up their interest by placing an offer in for the forward in the coming days.
