According to Gianlucadimarzio.com, Genoa will find it difficult to convince Danny Rose to leave Tottenham Hotspur for them.

It has been reported that Genoa want to sign Rose – who earns £60,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – from Tottenham in the summer transfer window.

The Italian club have already made first contacts with the left-back’s entourage, but they are going to find it tough to convince the 30-year-old, according to the report.

Step down for Danny Rose

Genoa finished 17th in the Serie A table last season, and they also ended up fourth from bottom in the standings during the 2018-19 campaign.

Rose is still a very good left-back who could get back to his best if he is given a run of games and shown confidence by a manager.

Genoa are likely to fight for survival in Serie A again this season, and the Englishman should be aiming for a bigger club who are ambitious and want to trophies or challenge for European places.

Rose is out of contract at Tottenham at the end of the 2020-21 campaign, and one suspects that the North London outfit will want to sell him now and get some transfer fee.
