Ajax want to sell Andre Onana as soon as possible, amid interest from Arsenal, Goal.com reports.
Arsenal have been tracking the Ajax goalkeeper for some time, and are thought to be heavily interested in landing him this summer.
However, the deal which once looked relatively simple, is becoming more and more complicated.
Arsenal are now said to be competing with another Premier League side for his signature, with Ajax hoping that a deal can be done quickly.
Unfortunately for the Gunners, they may struggle to complete a transfer in the near future.
Onana is said to be want assurances that he will be number one at whatever club he joins.
Arsenal still currently have Bernd Leno in place, and while the German remains that is an offer that they cannot make.
Leno, of course, may be sold by Arsenal – but he is currently at Euro 2020, and his future will not be sorted until after the international tournament.

That means that Arsenal may not yet be in position to make a bid for Onana, which puts their chances of signing him into some doubt.
Ideal signing for Arsenal?
If Arsenal were to miss out now, that could be considered a disappointment.
Onana looks to be one of the biggest bargains on the market, with Ajax thought to be looking for just £7 million for the stopper (Goal).
Onana is a solid shot stopper, but he is also much better on the ball than Leno, which could make him an appealing option to Mikel Arteta, who encourages his Arsenal side to build from the back.
