Juventus have reportedly placed midfielder Adrien Rabiot on the transfer list ahead of the summer, with Newcastle United rumoured to be interested in the Frenchman.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Bianconeri are open to offers for both Rabiot as well as Brazilian defender Alex Sandro, with CalcioMercato previously reporting that Newcastle are keen on the former PSG star.
Rabiot has failed to make much of an impact under Massimiliano Allegri since his return to the hot seat at Juventus, with the Serie A giants set for a huge summer rebuild in the off-season which could see numerous players depart Turin.
Whilst former manager and Italian legend Andrea Pirlo hailed Rabiot as ‘a complete player’, the 26-year-old looks desperate for a new home to get back on his feet, and Newcastle could offer just that.
Eddie Howe’s side were pushing to sign a central midfielder in January, and whilst the Toon did land Bruno Guimaraes from Olympique Lyonnais, Newcastle could go in for a second player in the summer, and Rabiot could be an ideal candidate.
With Juventus eager to sell and Rabiot’s contract up in 2023, Newcastle could land a bargain of a signing in the summer in the Frenchman, who could be the perfect foil to Guimaraes next season.
Rabiot can take Newcastle to the next level if Juventus agree to sale

PIF’s January signings have been a revelation for Newcastle so far, with Kieran Trippier transforming the defence and Dan Burn already showing signs of being an incredible addition for the northeast club, and Rabiot could have a similar impact.
Whilst regular minutes have been hard for the Juventus midfielder this season, the Frenchman could rejuvenate himself at St. James Park with the Toon, and alongside Guimaraes, Rabiot could elevate Newcastle to a level many supporters have not seen in a long time.
