Italian website CMW claim that Inter Milan would be willing to sell Hakan Calhanoglu in the January window for £26million with multiple English clubs keen – after Liverpool, Tottenham and Newcastle were linked in the summer.
Calhanoglu, 28, was excellent for Inter last season. Joining the club from Milan after Inter had won the 2020-21 Serie A title, he was a part of the Inter side that finished a close 2nd behind his old side Milan. He has been unlucky perhaps.
But he was excellent for Inter last term. Clocking up 46 outings, he had a hand in 21 goals. Scoring eight and creating 13. This season, he has already scored one and created another – starting six of Inter’s seven matches so far this term.
However, the German-born Turkey international is in the final two years of his contract. Inter are said to be open to his exit after just 18 months in January. CMW say that a handful of Premier League clubs want to sign the playmaker.

It is after numerous reports over the last few months linked him with cash-rich Newcastle, Antonio Conte’s Tottenham and a move to Liverpool. If Calhanoglu does want to leave Inter at this moment in time, is unclear as things stand.
Inter willing to sell Calhanoglu: Liverpool, Newcastle, Tottenham linked
Calhanoglu is the kind of player that would improve any Premier League club. Even at Manchester City, he would thrive with the quality he has around him and shine alongside the likes of Erling Haaland. He is a top, top player.
For £26million, he is a bargain, even if he does turn 29 in February. A player in the prime of his career, consistently churning out big numbers in terms of stats. He gives something to all three clubs they lack, a goalscoring no.10.
