Turkish outlet Takvim claim Galatasaray have tabled a loan-to-buy offer for Tottenham star Lucas Moura ahead of Thursday’s transfer deadline – with Lucas falling down the pecking order following the summer signing of Richarlison.
Lucas, who turned 30 earlier this month, has fallen down the pecking order under Antonio Conte. Making sub outings against Southampton and Chelsea, he was an unused sub against Wolves – and missing against the win over Forest.
With the 35-time Brazil ace now in the final two years of his deal and unlikely to earn a new contract, Spurs could be open to his exit. It comes after four and a half years at Spurs, in which he has clocked up a huge 204 appearances.
Turkish side Galatasaray will be looking to build on a poor season last time around, and a tricky start that leaves Gala sixth. The report says they are in talks with Spurs over Lucas, and have tabled a loan-to-buy bid for the £17m-rated ace.

Lucas has had interest in his services this summer. Juventus are said to be one of those looking at the ex-PSG man. Little surprise, given the quality and attitude of Lucas. But also that he is struggling for game time in North London.
Richarlison is a younger, more tenacious version of Lucas. The club brought in Dejan Kulusevski in January. So, they have two wingers vying for a place in the side alongside Son Heung-min and Harry Kane. Lucas will struggle.
Whether a club like Gala, who are not in Europe this season, can tempt Lucas is another question. But there is still a case to be made in regards to whether Lucas should leave Spurs in the next few days. But Gala will have to move quick.
Conte will surely be keen to keep Lucas as cover. He once described him as “one of the best” in the Spurs squad.
