Wolverhampton Wanderers are still awaiting an offer from Tottenham Hotspur for Matt Doherty, according to the Express and Star.
Tottenham are keen on landing the right-back, with some reports suggesting that a transfer is now very close.
However, the Express and Star claims that Wolves are still awaiting a bid from Tottenham for their right-back.
The 28-year-old was a regular starter for Nuno’s side last term, and proved to be very reliable.
He has now spent the last 10 years at Wolves, and his improvements have been vast.
There is a feeling that Doherty would be a massive upgrade on Serge Aurier at Tottenham, and he would also be a good fit for Jose Mourinho’s system.

Spurs have allowed their right-back to have great attacking freedom since Mourinho took charge, and Doherty possesses excellent quality in the final third.
The Republic of Ireland international has proven a good goal threat, and his power and aerial strength makes him well suited to a side managed by Mourinho.
Former Tottenham player Jermaine Jenas is among his admirers, after calling him ‘sensational’ (SportJoe).
And he could prove to be a very important addition to Tottenham’s team, as they have struggled for a reliable right-back for so long.
