Almost every big club in Europe would love to sign Kai Havertz this summer. The 21-year-old has been one of the most exciting prospects in the world this season and it does seem like he is destined for greatness.
Multiple Premier League sides have been linked with a move for Havertz this summer but none more so than Liverpool.
Bleacher Report claimed last week that Jurgen Klopp is a massive fan of Havertz and he would love to work with the 20-year-old.
However, the same report claimed that Liverpool have played down their chances of landing the Bayer Leverkusen superstar this summer.
That opens up opportunities for other clubs to make their move for Havertz and it looks like one top European side have tabled a bid already.
Sport Buzzer have claimed that Real Madrid are really interested in the German and have placed a bid for him.
Leverkusen have rejected the Galacticos’ opening offer but it is unlikely that they will end their pursuit just after one rejection.
It is also claimed in the report that Real Madrid is Havertz’s preferred destination this summer. That is a blow for Liverpool who have already missed out on signing RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner.
Havertz will likely be the biggest transfer story in the upcoming transfer window, and if this report is anything to go by, he will not be moving to Liverpool this summer.
