Arsenal are interested in signing Jules Kounde from Sevilla in the summer of 2021, according to El Gol Digital.
It has been reported that Arsenal have shown interest in the 22-year-old central defender after Sevilla decided to reduce their valuation of him by €30 million (£25.66 million)
Sevilla had initially wanted €90 million (£76.98 million) for the French defender, but the La Liga outfit are now looking for €60 million (£51.32 million), which has seen Manchester United reignite their interest in him, according to the report.
Yet another defender?
Do Arsenal need yet another central defender? True, Kounde is a very talented and promising young player, but manager Mikel Arteta does have a lot of options at the back.
Gabriel has been superb for Arsenal, while Rob Holding is playing well this season. David Luiz is out of contract at the end of the season, but the Brazilian could get a new deal.

William Saliba is out on loan at Nice, while Konstantinos Mavropanos is on loan at Stuttgart at the moment.
Perhaps it would be better for Arsenal if they spend money on other departments in the summer of 2021 instead of bringing in yet another centre-back.
