Arsenal target Boubacar Kamara could be pushed towards the exit door by Marseille with the club needing to raise funds, according to Le 10 Sport

Foot Mercato have suggested that Arsenal want Kamara, as Mikel Arteta aims to strengthen his defensive options.

Arsenal would be willing to pay £28 million for Kamara for the Marseille midfielder, according to those reports.

And the chances of Marseille agreeing to a deal may have increased, as the French club are looking to raise funds.

Marseille apparently need to find over £50 million to fit in with Financial Fair Play regulations, which could see some of their most valuable players sold.

Kamara is one of the players named who could be pushed towards the exit, which could play right into Arsenal’s hands.

If the 20-year-old was brought to the Emirates Stadium he could partner William Saliba in central defence for Arsenal next term, which would give them a very promising pairing at the back.
