Real Madrid’s reported plan regarding Isco would be a biow to Arsenal as well as Tottenham Hotspur.

Madrid are planning to use Isco as a bargaining chip to sign Jules Kounde or Pau Torres, according to Defensa Central.

New manager Carlo Ancelotti wants a contingency plan should defenders Sergio Ramos and/or Raphael Varane leave this summer.

The Spanish giants are reportedly interested in Sevilla central defender Kounde and in Villarreal centre-back Torres.

Madrid are willing to use attacking midfielder Isco in a deal for Kounde or Torres, according to the report.

This is bad news for both Tottenham and Arsenal.

According to The Sunday Mirror (06/06, p77), Tottenham are ready to hand Spanish midfielder Isco a three-year contract, as covered by us here at HITC Sport.

As we also covered here, ABC Sevilla reported this month that Arsenal hold a strong interest in Kounde.

Madrid are one of the biggest clubs in the world, and Kounde could be tempted to move to the European giants.

Arsenal are not going to challenge for the Premier League title anytime soon.

As for Tottenham, the North London club are still trying to find a manager.

Ancelotti is a decorated and world-class manager, and Kounde could find working under him very appealing.
