Rangers want to tell Leeds United to ‘get lost’ for at least another season, following their interest in Ryan Kent again, the Daily Record suggest.
Leeds are chasing the Rangers wide-man, who has become a key player for Steven Gerrard’s side and was recently labelled as ‘phenomenal’ on Sky Sports by Kris Boyd.
However, Leeds’ interest in Kent has quickly seen Rangers take action.
They are now planning to offer their attacker a new deal, in a bid to end Leeds’ interest once and for all.
Rangers apparently feel that if Kent signs a new contract then they may well let Leeds know in the strongest terms that he isn’t for sale.
Rangers have reportedly already told Leeds that they do not want to sell Kent, but they are still braced for bids from Marcelo Bielsa’s side as it stands.

Leeds’ strong interest should come as little surprise, as Kent has made a vast impact this term.
The wide-man has looked one of Scotland’s most dangerous attacking players, and he could help Leeds become an even bigger threat in the Premier League if he was to join.
