Peterborough United have surely signed their replacement for Celtic-linked Ivan Toney in the form of Jonson Clarke-Harris.
Bristol Live report that Peterborough are set to pay £1.25 million for Clarke-Harris, which suggests that Toney’s move away is edging ever close.
Just where Toney will go remains to be seen, but the Daily Record have suggested that Celtic are keen.
Celtic have been struggling to agree a fee with Posh, who are thought to be demanding £9 million for the target-man.
But, with Clarke-Harris arriving, it seems that his departure will be sanctioned sooner rather than later.
Celtic may well be hoping that Toney does arrive at Parkhead, as their need for more attacking additions was laid bare last night.

Without Odsonne Edouard, Celtic looked toothless as they crashed out of the Champions League at the first hurdle.
Toney scored 26 goals last term in League One and would surely increase Celtic’s scoring threat if he was to arrive.
If Neil Lennon’s side can agree a fee, it seems that they have a real chance of getting hold of the 24-year-old too, as Posh transfer chief Barry Fry has said that the striker wants a move to Celtic already this summer in the Daily Mail.
