The Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi was reportedly offered to Leeds United last week (HLN).
But as Leeds’ interest Rodrigo of Valencia appears to have strengthened, with suggestions a deal for the Spaniard is now close (Goal), Batshuayi may have to look elsewhere for a club.
According to A Bola in Portugal, Benfica, one of Rodrigo’s former clubs, have also been presented with a chance to sign the Belgian.
It comes after complications arose in Benfica’s pursuit of another Leeds-linked striker, Edinson Cavani, although it is not yet known if the Eagles are willing to take Batshuayi off Chelsea’s hands.
It was claimed the Blues want £23 million for the 26-year-old, who started just five games last season in all competitions.
Cavani, on the other hand, would be free after leaving Paris Saint-Germain, although his wage demands are reported to be considerable.

Batshuayi scored 10 goals in 29 games for the Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa at Marseille.
The £35m Chelsea recruit only has a year left to run on his Stamford Bridge contract.
