According to Defensa Central, reported Arsenal target Alphonse Areola can re-join Real Madrid on loan on the condition the Spanish club cover his wages.
The French goalkeeper has been heavily linked with an exit from PSG.
Mundo Deportivo recently claimed that Arsenal want to sign Areola this summer, placing him ahead of Barcelona’s Neto on their wish list.

Areola was once a regular at PSG under former Arsenal manager Unai Emery.
But the 27-year-old has fallen out of favour under current coach Thomas Tuchel, spending the season on loan at Real Madrid as part of the deal involving Keylor Navas.
Areola has made just eight appearances for Madrid as back-up to Thibaut Courtois.
PSG are seemingly keen to get rid of him. L’Equipe claim his wages of around £120,000 per week pose a problem for the club ahead of his return.
The latest reports from Defensa Central say PSG are offering Madrid the chance to extend his loan for another year. However, they insist the La Liga giants pay his wages.
Zinedine Zidane’s side, however, are favouring Lunin for the back-up role.
The reports potentially clear a path for Arsenal to sign Areola. However, the Gunners will surely be reluctant to pay such wages for a player not likely to start.
Arsenal have a capable goalkeeper in Bernd Leno. The German has combined Premier League and cup competitions this season without too many problems.
Areola would be a step up on Arsenal’s back-up goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, but the cost to cover his wages could be better spent elsewhere.
