Report: Club now want to sell £23m star, after claims Tottenham & Everton will bid in January

Napoli will try and sell reported Tottenham Hotspur and Everton target Arkadiusz Milik in January, the Daily Mail suggest.

Milik has been admired by Tottenham for a long time, while Everton are also thought to be in the market for a new number nine.

And it was claimed in August by Tutto Mercato Web that both Spurs and Everton were now planning January bids.

If the duo do make offers it seems that Napoli could well be willing to listen, as they are now eager to cash in on Milik.

The £23 million-rated Polish international (Gazetta) has fallen out of favour with the Serie A side, who are now keen to move him on.

Tottenham actually bought in Carlos Vinicius up-front in the summer, to reduce their need for a new number nine.

But they may not want to turn down a player of Milik’s quality now he is seemingly available, after chasing him for so long.

Everton, meanwhile, could well seek more cover for the in-form Dominic Calvert-Lewin, and a proven goalscorer like Milik would be a fine addition to their squad.
