Queens Park Rangers are expecting to lose Eberechi Eze, who apparently dreams of a move to Arsenal, the Daily Mail suggest.

Sky Sports claim that Eze is hoping that Arsenal sign him this summer, although whether the Gunners will make a move remains to be seen.

Eze has a host of top flight clubs watching him, and QPR are now resigned to losing their star player in the near future.

As a result Mark Warburton’s side are now apparently stepping up their search for a replacement, with a new creative midfielder in their sights.

Eze’s apparent desire to move to Arsenal surely must have been noted by Mikel Arteta’s side, although whether he will get his wish is very much up for debate.

Arsenal are thought to want to add more creativity to their squad this summer, but they are yet to really push to sign Eze.

The English playmaker was one of the stars of the Championship over the past campaign, where he ability in possession really caught the eye.

But he would be making a significant step up by joining Arsenal and even though he does look an exciting talent, Arteta would need to consider whether Eze could make an impact in the first-team straight away.

Sky say that any club looking to buy Eze this summer will have to pay £20 million.
