Barcelona are now confident that reported Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur target Samuel Umtiti will leave, according to Marca.
Sky Sports reported on Tottenham’s interest in Umtiti, while Sport said Arsenal would like to sign the Frenchman earlier this month.
Both Tottenham and Arsenal are keen to land a centre-back this summer, and it seems that Umtiti is on the North London duo’s radar.
Barca are keen to offload a number of their first-team squad this summer, as they look to raise funds for incoming additions.
And Umtiti is one of the players that Barca believe they will be able to find a new home for.
Whether that will be at Arsenal or Tottenham remains to be seen, but the £27 million-rated talent (Sport) could make an appealing addition for either of the capital clubs.

Umtiti remains a supremely talented defender, and if he could be kept fit, he would surely step right into either Mikel Arteta’s or Jose Mourinho’s side’s defences.
Both Arsenal and Tottenham have struggled to find a reliable central defensive pairing this term, and tightening up at the back appears to be one of their main priorities for next season.
