AC Milan have made an initial enquiry about signing Tottenham Hotspur defender Serge Aurier, according to Gianlucadimarzio.com.

It has been reported that Milan want to sign a right-back in the summer transfer window.

Former Paris Saint-Germain star Aurier is at the top of the Italian club’s wish-list, with the 27-year-old valued between €12 million (£10.80 million) and €15 million (£13.50 million).

Stats

Aurier made 31 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Tottenham this past season, scoring one goal and providing six assists in the league, according to WhoScored.

The 27-year-old Ivory Coast international right-back also scored one goal and provided two assists in five Champions League games for the North London outfit this past campaign, according to WhoScored.

Stay or leave?

Aurier has been on the books of Tottenham since 2017, but the right-back has not really convinced much.

While the right-back is good going forward, defensively he has made mistakes and has been found lacking on many occasions.

However, Spurs really do not have too many options at right-back, and if they do sell the former PSG star, then they might struggle to bring in a top-quality replacement.
