AC Milan are setting plans in motion to beat the likes of Manchester City and Tottenham to Belgian international Charles De Ketelaere.
TuttoMercatoWeb report that the Serie A giants are huge fans of the ‘generational’ Club Brugge star, who is enjoying a breakout season Jupiler League side, with the versatile attacker bagging 16 goals and nine assists in all competitions this campaign.
And as reported by Voetbal Nieuws, both City and Tottenham are tracking De Ketelaere, with Leicester City also said to be interested in the 21-year-old attacking midfielder, yet Milan now pose a serious threat to these Premier League clubs.
The Rossoneri have an impressive streak in recent transfer windows of signing talented players with high potential across Europe, and De Ketelaere could be the latest name to make a name for themselves in Milan.
With Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic Milan’s main centre-forwards, De Ketelaere could be an excellent addition for the Serie A giants this summer as well as a younger option for the front-line.
Indeed, Brugge have set a €40m (£34m) price tag for De Ketelaere as per Voetbal Nieuws. And whilst City and Tottenham will be able to meet these demands, Milan’s interest and need for a younger striker could push Stefan Pioli’s side to launch an offer.
Milan’s reputation could lure De Ketelaere away from City and Spurs

With a Serie A title charge on the cards, Milan could head into the summer with another UEFA Champions League qualification spot as well as their first Scudetto in over a decade. And their reputation as a whole could see the Italia club land De Ketelaere over City and Tottenham.
The club’s need for a striker will be appealing for De Ketelaere as well as the chance to learn under the likes of Ibrahimovic, and whilst City and Tottenham are huge clubs as well, Milan would be an exciting venture for the 21-year-old Belgian, who is ready for the next step.
