Lille have reportedly lined up a replacement for Victor Osimhen following apparent contact from Liverpool, according to Le10 Sport.
Osimhen’s agent came out earlier this week and suggested that Liverpool had told the Nigerian forward that they wanted to sign him.
“All the mentioned clubs have made contact with him,” he said to All Nigeria Soccer, after being quizzed on Liverpool’s interest.
It was also claimed just last month by Arena Napoli that Liverpool had made a £62 million offer for Osimhen.

And it seems that Lille are now quickly working on a plan to cover for the loss of their star striker.
Lille appear to have come to terms with the potential of Osimhen leaving them now, and Talles Magno of Vasco De Gama is reportedly in their sights.
Magno is just 17, but he is regarded as an extremely bright prospect in Brazil, and Lille’s scouts feel he is ready to be brought to France.
The interest may offer Liverpool encouragement that a deal could be possible for Osimhen.
However, there have to be serious doubts over whether Jurgen Klopp’s side could finance the transfer.
Liverpool have already seemingly missed out on Timo Werner, and it is questionable whether they would be able to reach Lille’s asking price Osimhen this summer.
