According to the Telegraph, they have been told by inside sources that Tottenham Hotspur’s stadium won’t be ready until February.

Spurs have already confirmed that they will not play a game in their new ground in 2018, but there were hopes that a move to the new stadium could have happened in time to play Manchester United in the middle of January.

However, the Telegraph reports that Spurs’ switch away from Wembley could take even longer than that.

Tottenham insiders are now suggesting that the new ground will not be ready to be played in until February.

Mauricio Pochettino has spoken out this week about his frustrations over the delay of the ground.

Spurs were expected to be in their new home for this season, but constant delays have put the stadium over budget and it has taken far longer than anticipated to complete the building work.

Electrical issues are currently holding up the stadium being built, and Spurs fans are desperate for these to be rectified sooner rather than later.
