Italian outlet TuttoJuve report that Juventus have no interest in sanctioning a deal that would see Arsenal land Manuel Locatelli – and left-back Kieran Tierney moving in the other direction. Recent reports say Tierney could end up at Juve.
Locatelli, 25, joined Juventus on loan from Sassuolo in the summer of 2021. A deal that includes an obligation, which will see the Italy midfielder complete a permanent move at the end of the season. But already, he is linked with an exit.
Largely because, Juve have suffered a points deduction and with the club’s finances in question, there will be a major summer revamp. Players will leave, in order to bring in cash. Locatelli, a Euro 2020 winner, could be one of those to go.
Juve’s no.5 has been strongly linked with a number of Premier League clubs. CMW reported towards the end of last season that even Antonio Conte’s Spurs are keen. This week, CMW say Arsenal were ready to swap Locatelli for Tierney.

Juventus have no interest in Locatelli and Tierney swap deal with Arsenal
On the surface, it was a move that made sense. The Gunners are expected to be in the market for another midfielder, as Granit Xhaka enters his thirties. The Swiss ace is now in the latter third of his career. His Arsenal deal ends in 2024.
Locatelli might be viewed as his successor. At the same time, Tierney has fallen down the pecking order. There are a number of Premier League clubs supposedly keen. Serie A has started to see Scottish footballers infiltrate their league.
Liam Henderson, Aaron Hickey, Josh Doig and Lewis Ferguson, to name a few. Clearly, the view of Scottish footballers is growing in Italy and that made a Juventus move for Tierney seem believable. Juve ‘are not interested in the slighted’.
